Charred wood that never burned through — Aratis marked this vessel and left her warmth in it.

- Size
- ~3 feet wide
A shallow wooden bowl about three feet wide, lustrous red, carved with icons of Aratis. The inside is charred but intact. Magical, near area.
The second artifact-creation example in Book I. Origin Aratis, theme laws/rules/traditions, nature strange material — redwood (natural tether for spirits of the wild), form fire — brazier. A bound fire-spirit sanctified to Aratis — taming chaos with civilized rite.
When you light the brazier
When you light a fire in the brazier and awaken the spirit of sanctified flame within, mortals and Fae in its presence feel a sense of solemn awe.
When anyone violates decorum in the presence of the flame, they are filled with… (they pick 1):
- Shame, and act accordingly
- Doubt, and hesitate or pause
- Fear, and seek to hide or escape
How to use it
A stronger example than the silver sphere — same procedure, more elaborate write-up. Use it as the template for a minor magical artifact with a player-facing trigger move before reaching for the full minor-arcanum machinery.
