Whispering Rocks
Black volcanic glass that trades your secrets for everyone else's.

- Major
Jagged hunks of black volcanic glass. Surely the swirling movement in their depths is a trick of the light, and those hushed voices only the sighing wind—but stare long enough and the stones begin to whisper back, trading the buried secrets of those you name for secrets prised loose from your own heart.
A dark spirit dwells in each rock, and the bargain runs deeper than gossip. Listen often enough and the stones surrender their hold over Shadow Magic, letting the bearer cloak themselves in darkness, reach across distance to watch and whisper, or ensnare a victim in living shadow. The shadows are never given freely; they take their measure of the one who calls them.

Properties
When you spend a few hours staring into the stones and listening to their whispers, Name someone you know but on whom you have never used this power before. 10+: stones reveal a secret about them. 7-9: reveal a secret to the stones first (about your hopes/fears/regrets/desires), then they reveal theirs. 6-: stones pry a secret from you. Each time you reveal or lose a secret, mark 1 circle; last mark unlocks Shadow Magic.
When you draw the Blood-quenched Sword, SHADOW MAGIC (unlocked): When you hold a Whispering Rock and call out the shadows within, choose one: cloak yourself in shadows and silence (unseen as long as you draw no attention and avoid sun/sacred light); name someone you know/have arcane link to (see/hear/whisper to them as if from a nearby shadow); name someone you can see (shadows ensnare them, no harm but hinders sight and movement). Then roll +CON: 10+ lasts as long as you wish (disadvantage on all rolls while maintained); 7-9 mark Consequence and as 10+, or flickers out immediately; 6- ask the GM. Shatter a rock: cross off that Shadow Magic option.
