The Mindgem
A lonely intelligence trapped in glass, hungry for a body it cannot remember.

- Major
A head-sized chunk of makerglass, lonesome and confused. Touch it with bare skin and your mind opens to the intelligence within—a presence longing for meaning and connection, speaking mind-to-mind. It knows a great deal about the past, the Makers and their lost arts, yet nothing of its own history or purpose. At least, not yet.
Its true form lies scattered and broken: a chassis of white granite weighing well over a ton, an indestructible heart of makerglass that burns with terrible heat, and an intricate bronze helm to house the gem. Reassemble the pieces and the gem awakens into the Mighty Servant—though what it becomes once it remembers what it was for is anyone's guess.

Properties
When you consult the Mindgem about the Makers, their arts, or their history, Ask a question and roll +INT. On a 7+, it answers; on a 10+, pick 1; on a 7-9, pick 2: the answer is cryptic/vague/lacking context; it takes a long time (hours or days); your mind is left reeling (disadvantage on your next roll). On a 6-, choose 1: it wastes your time with irrelevant data; or it answers now but refuses further questions until you make progress restoring its body.
