A copper-banded staff tingles with stored power, though its missing and damaged runes must be reconstructed and replaced with rune-embossed aetherium before it will answer. Attuning to the repaired staff means holding fast while lightning courses through it, courting serious burns. Once charged, the staff lets its wielder sense and move iron, steel, cobalt, and nickel by force of focus alone — slowly at first, then faster and farther as they tap its dwindling reserve of power.
