An ancient invitation to step through one portal and emerge from another, miles away.

A letter on faded, pocked papyrus, written in an archaic form of Southern. It invites one "Boas" to visit by way of "your nearest portal," furnishing instructions and a circle of arcane sigils. "Ask for Calcus when you arrive." Decipher the dialect and master the axiom of local contagion, and you can trace one portal's sigils inside another in cinnabar ink to open a passage between them — or strain to manifest the lines from memory alone, at a cost to your own body.
