Across them runs large, precise calligraphy and diagrams of meditative poses and strange geometric patterns of heat, water, and ice — the Rime Lords' art of weaving dark ice into being. Unlocking it demands deciphering the Rime Lords' alphabet, months of disciplined study, and the willingness to risk lasting harm to one's own health.
