A cord nearly ten feet long, strung with bronze beads carved with glyphs and figures locked in meditative poses. Running your fingers along them brings a profound stillness, shadowed by an unrelenting sense of being weighed and found wanting.

The glyphs are Rime Lord work, and the discipline they teach hardens the body against the world: little sleep, no warmth, no food, and a will that shrugs off pain and the raw fury of the elements. The path runs through a season of isolation, naked and fasting, with the beads your only company.
