Bittersweet Elixir

A redwood basin carved with shifting flowers, vines, and beast skulls, home to a spirit of life and vitality that must be befriended before it will bargain. Pour a few years of your own life into it, learned from a Fae, and the basin yields a draught of honey and regret. The years come due as sudden aging or some lasting cost, but whoever drinks straight from the basin can be made whole again, even of poison, disease, or a wound thought permanent. Every cure here is a debt someone has already paid in living.
