Spoken in ecstatic delirium, they utter Truths about the world; mastered through weeks of ascetic contemplation, they become Words like Seal, Purify, Gather, and Empower, each one able to close or open, cleanse or spread, draw or fling, heal or drain. Such primordial speech draws the notice of magical beings and the ancient powers of Order, who do not take kindly to its reckless use.

On a 10+, you speak a new and useful Truth about the current situation, understood by all present; on a 7-9, it is cryptic, incomplete, overwhelming, or attention-drawing. Weeks of ascetic contemplation can mark progress toward Speak the Unutterable. Mastered Words include Seal, Purify, Gather, and Empower, spoken forward or backward to close or open, cleanse or spread, draw or fling, heal or drain. Consequences draw magical attention, overflow reality, change your voice, tear rifts, or rouse ancient Order.
