Noruba’s Ice Sphere
Gaze in long enough and the world goes quiet, your body forgotten.

- Major
A perfect sphere of dark ice — fist-sized, never melting, hard as stone — set like a gaudy gem at the end of a finely wrought torc, or perhaps a ring that once sat upon some giant's finger. Staring into its depths brings calm, serenity, and a creeping detachment; a lesser mind might lose hours to it. Those who learn to use it as a psychic anchor can send their consciousness wandering free of the flesh, an invisible spirit walking the world. But every venture loosens the tether — the body cools and withers, the heart dulls, and hungry things in the spirit world catch the scent.

Properties
When you gaze into the sphere and ponder a situation, puzzle, or mystery, ask the GM a question such as who benefits, what is not as it seems, how to learn more, what outcome is likely, or what you are overlooking. Roll +INT to hold Acumen, which you can spend while acting on the answer to ask another question or improve a roll. On a 6-, your connection to your body weakens. Unlocking the sphere grants Mindwalking: your consciousness leaves your body as an invisible, insubstantial spirit with Power to manifest, move small unattended items, or return to the sphere. Consequences can dull emotions, chill the body, draw hungry spirits, or tether you to ghosthood.
