Function Follows Form

While many kalo artisans and designers keep the ultimate purpose of what they create in mind, the exploding Pact Worlds market for kalo creations has incentivized many to push the boundaries of form with little regard for function. This has given rise to a secondary industry, wherein more utilitarian artisans skillfully adapt fanciful custom goods to be more functional, striving to do so without altering the look of the item at all. These artisans are rarely famous as the designers whose work they adapt, but they're well respected and well paid for their work.
