Plane of Fire

Like a great, gleaming ball of flame situated at the heart of the Astral Plane, the Plane of Fire is the outermost plane of the Inner Sphere. A perpetual ocean of fire with skies of smoke, storms of raining cinders, and lakes and rivers of magma flowing along its border with the Elemental Plane of Earth, the plane is incredibly hostile to those unprepared for its natural hazards. This inhospitable realm is known most for one of the most visited metropolises in all cosmology: Medina Mudii'a, the bustling magitech hub of the Dominion of Flame. A spectacle of the tyrannical ifrits and their subjugation of much of the plane, Medina Mudii'a houses their vast armies and is home to the current grand sultana, Ayasellah Mihelar Khalidlah VI (inspiring female ifrit sultana). The sultana has a less aggressive hand than her predecessors, and she rules with an appointed committee of advisors. Speculation is rife about the Dominion of Flame's smoldering ambitions, which seem to have coincided with the sudden disappearance of the elemental lord, Ymeri the Queen of the Inferno. Ymeri's disappearance is linked to the detonation of her former home, the Auroric Palace, which has since become the Auroric Crater.
