You can launch a ball of plasma and stellar ejecta across the battlefield that explodes on impact, raining plasma and flame in a small area. Launch Plasma deals 3d6 fire damage in a 5-foot-radius burst within 60 feet. Each creature in the area must attempt a basic Reflex save against the higher of your class DC or spell DC. On a critical failure, a creature also takes 3 persistent electricity damage. At 7th level and every 2 levels thereafter, the fire damage increases by 1d6, and the persistent electricity damage increases by 1. At 17th level, the area increases to a 10-foot-radius burst. Special If you're a volatile novian, Launch Plasma and Mini-Nova's damage dice are both increased to d8s.
