You learn to install a rudimentary shield that temporarily blocks damage. You gain the following new mod:
Flickering Shield (armor): The item produces a temporary shield. The wearer gains temporary HP equal to 5 + your Intelligence modifier and regains HP equal to your Intelligence modifier each round the shield is active. Lasts 1 minute or until dismissed. The modded item then becomes temporarily immune to this mod for 10 minutes.
