Eternal Devotion

--- Once per month, when you die, you can choose to invoke your devotion to a single willing living creature you know. Your life essence becomes inextricably bound to that creature, letting you survive beyond death. Your body immediately disappears, and after 1 month, you return to life at maximum Hit Points, appearing within 30 feet of the target of your devotion. If the target of your devotion dies, then you immediately die. If you die and choose not to use this ability, your spirit might return as a ghost or other spirit under the GM's control.
