A menace to every sentient being, psychic fungi are an invasive species that propagate by using the minds of sapient creatures. Psychic fungi that have integrated a higher intelligence can become a regional or even planetary threat. Members Elder Psychic Fungus (Creature 4), Psychic Fungus Harvester (Creature 1), Psychic Fungus Warden (Creature 2) Psychic Fungus Networks Each psychic fungus network has an elder psychic fungus at the center— sometimes more than one. The elder psychic fungus controls and can use the senses of any plant or fungus creatures connected to their mycelium network. Only an elder psychic fungus can add a plant or fungus creature to their mycelium network, and the network collapses if the elder psychic fungus is destroyed. Wicked Evolution Elder fungus control and nourish harvesters and wardens through the mycelium network; if disconnected, they'll always attempt to return to the elder fungus. When an elder fungus is destroyed, bonded harvesters and wardens will search for intelligent victims to consume and awaken as a new elder psychic fungus in order to establish new colonies.
