Mobile Inn
A stove, sleeping loft, and washbasin on wheels bring roadhouse comfort to travelers making a long haul between towns.
A mobile inn is a tiny inn on wheels — the next step up from an armored carriage, bringing the limited comforts of a cramped roadhouse to wealthy travelers crossing long distances. Powered by alchemical catalysts and a steam engine, it carries a stove, storage cupboard, washbasin, table, two benches, and a compact sleeping loft large enough for four. It can be modified to coddle a single passenger in much more comfort, or stripped of its accommodations to hold five.
A single pilot drives it (Driving Lore DC 24, or Crafting DC 26) and it normally seats three passengers — up to five once the furnishings are gone. The whole rig runs 20 feet on a side and stands 13 feet high, with a hardness of 10. Price 1,500 gp.
