A patron made of nothing at all lends a witch power over the moment a room goes dark, secrets no one else was meant to keep.

Automatic:

This patron reached a witch in the paralysis between sleep and waking, teaching her that shadows hide worse than the eye can see.

Starless Shadow witches serve an occult patron of absence — the dark between stars, the unlit hour. Their magic deals in obscurement, secrets kept too long, and the cold that follows when the lamps go out.
