Senses: Keen Eyes — you can see through the concealed condition at close range. You ignore the flat check to hit concealed creatures when they are within 10 feet.

Languages: Common, Halfling, plus bonus languages equal to Intelligence modifier.

Ancestry Features:

• Halfling Luck (Reaction): Once per day, when you fail (but don't critically fail) a skill check or saving throw, you can reroll and use the better result. This is one of the most powerful once-per-day abilities in the game.
• Halfling Lore: Gain training in Acrobatics and Stealth. Trained in Halfling Lore.
• Halfling Weapon Familiarity: Access to uncommon halfling weapons.
• Distracting Shadows: When you attempt a Stealth check to Hide or Sneak, you can use a larger adjacent ally as cover if you are behind them.

Heritage Choices:

• Gutsy Halfling: Bonus on saves against emotion and fear effects.
• Hillock Halfling: When you recover HP by resting, regain 1 additional HP per level.
• Jinxed Halfling: Curse others with bad luck using an innate spell.
• Nomadic Halfling: Know one additional language.
