Winged Owlbear
A flighted owlbear folds out of the dark sky, and its bloodcurdling hunting screech can scatter a party before beak and talon ever connect.
A winged owlbear is everything that makes its earthbound cousins fearsome, lifted into the sky on broad feathered wings. It folds out of the dark and falls on prey with a hooked beak and raking talons, and its hunting cry is enough to scatter a whole party before it strikes.
