A straugh is a ghoulish horror that burrows up through grave-soil, its beak and talons carrying the rot of the tomb. Anything it kills it returns to devour.

In play

  • Its beak inflicts ghoul fever and paralysis on a hit; its talon attacks (Agile, reach 10 feet) strike for piercing plus paralysis and grab on a hit — see Improved Grab.
  • It is immune to death effects, disease, paralyzed, poison, and unconscious, and has negative healing.
  • Consume Flesh [Single Action] (Manipulate) Requirements The straugh is adjacent to the corpse of a creature that died within the last hour; Effect The straugh devours a chunk of the corpse and regains 7d6 Hit Points. It can regain Hit Points from any given corpse only once.
