Shrine Caretaker

The burning restless dead of a fire-tender still keeps its vigil, lashing out at anyone who'd let the sacred flame go cold.

rareFireUndeadUnholy

A shrine caretaker is the burning, restless dead of one who died tending a sacred fire — an undead wreathed in flame that still keeps its vigil, lashing out at any who would let the shrine go cold. It has void healing.

In play

Intense Heat (aura, fire) 5 feet, 2d6 fire, DC 17 basic Reflex

Water Vulnerability When a shrine caretaker is dealt damage by a water effect, the undead is wracked by pain, becoming stunned 1. Water can't douse the shrine caretaker's flames. A shrine caretaker who emerges into the rainstorm functions as if sickened 2 as long as they remain in the downpour. They can't lower this sickened condition on their own, but it ends automatically if they end their turn in shelter (such as areas C3b or C3d).
