Painted Soldier (Matte)
A duller-finished kin of the mural guardian swallows light instead of reflecting it, harder to track by eye as it marches with rigid duty.
A painted soldier looks like a flat, two-dimensional figure stepped out of a mural — a guardian rendered in pigment and given hardened, marching life. It fights stiffly and tirelessly, a sentry that never breaks ranks until its armor cracks.
In play
Construct Armor Like normal objects, a painted soldier has Hardness. This Hardness reduces any damage it takes by an amount equal to the Hardness. Once a painted soldier is reduced to less than half its Hit Points, or immediately upon being damaged by a critical hit, its construct armor breaks, removing the Hardness and reducing its Armor Class to 21.
