Cairn Linnorm
A serpentine guardian of barrow-mounds whose venomous bite carries a dying curse that withers and ages whoever finally strikes it down.
A serpentine terror of barrow-mounds and ancient graves, the cairn linnorm guards the dead and lays a withering curse on any who dare strike it down.
Its venomous jaws drip cairn linnorm venom, and it moves under a constant freedom of movement. It regenerates 15 each round (deactivated by cold iron) and gains a +1 status bonus to all saves vs. magic.
In play
- Curse of the Crooked Cane (curse, primal) When a creature slays a cairn linnorm, it must succeed at a DC 44 Will save or become permanently enfeebled 2. In addition, the victim ages at an accelerated rate, aging 1 year every day, eventually causing it to die of old age if the curse is left untended.
- Attack of Opportunity [Reaction] Tail only. See Attack of Opportunity.
