Assassin Vine
A motionless predatory plant drops from hiding without a sound, then makes the surrounding greenery writhe to snare anyone fleeing.
A predatory plant that hangs motionless among ordinary foliage until prey wanders close, the assassin vine drops in eerie silence and crushes the life from whatever it can reach. The surrounding greenery seems to come alive at its bidding, snaring and slowing anything that tries to flee.
