Arboreal Tar Tree
Beneath the thorns and pitch lurks a spellcaster who roots feet to earth, gases the area, and steps between dead trees to flank prey.
A grotesque cousin of the forest's guardian trees, the arboreal tar tree oozes black pitch from its bark and lashes out with thorny limbs, hurling stones at anything that strays beneath its boughs. It has negative healing.
