Ancient Rune Dragon
A dragon etched with shifting magical runes can unmake spells cast against it, turning any duel into a contest with magic itself.
Rune dragons carry an innate insight into the power of runes. Most keep a shifting catalog of them etched across their scales, glyphs their bodies can magically empower at will, so that to strike a rune dragon is to wrestle with the language of magic itself.
