The winged castes of a giant ant colony, alate ants take to the air on glittering wings to found new nests or defend the old. Quick and erratic in flight, they spray clouds of maddening pheromones to scatter anything that threatens the swarm.

- Darting Flight [Reaction] Requirement The alate ant is flying; Trigger The ant is targeted with an attack by an attacker it can see; Effect The ant gains a +2 circumstance bonus to AC against the triggering attack.
- Pheromone Spray [Two Actions] (Emotion, Enchantment, Mental) The alate ant sprays a cloud of pheromones in a 15-foot cone. Non-ant creatures in the cone must succeed at a DC 37 Will save or become confused for 1d4 rounds (1 minute on a critical failure).
