Aeon Stone Swarm
A drifting swarm of animate gemstones garbles nearby spellcasting and bursts into a lethal hail of shards when destroyed.
An aeon stone swarm is a glittering cloud of animate magical gemstones, drifting and spinning as a single mind. The arcane resonance pouring off them garbles spellcasting, and when scattered they burst into a deadly hail of shards.
In play
Aeon Interference (arcane, aura) 20 feet. An aeon stone swarm is surrounded by a pall of magical interference, which hampers spellcasting in the area. Whenever a creature in the aura attempts to Cast a Spell, they must succeed at a DC 5 flat check or the spell is disrupted.
Stone Shatter When an aeon stone swarm is reduced to 0 Hit Points, it explodes in a burst of gem shards, dealing 3d12 piercing damage (DC 28 basic Reflex save) in a 30-foot emanation.
