Kharn-Doral is a vertical city — its halls, thoroughfares, and districts carved from living stone across dozens of levels connected by vast spiral ramps and mechanical lifts. The Great Forges on the lowest inhabited level draw heat from a geothermal vent, powering the legendary metalwork that made the hold's reputation. Upper levels contain residential districts, fungal farms illuminated by phosphorescent crystals, and a vast underground reservoir fed by mountain snowmelt. Though predominantly dwarven, Kharn-Doral has welcomed artisans and traders of all ancestries for centuries, and its lower market level is a multicultural bazaar carved from a natural cavern the size of a cathedral.
