Hearthgate
A sprawling trade hub where four roads converge, the markets never close, and fortune turns as fast as the crowds flow through.
A sprawling trade city built at the intersection of four major roads. Its markets overflow with goods from every corner of the world.
Environment Urban
Hearthgate grew from a simple crossroads inn into a thriving metropolis, its four great gates still marking the cardinal roads that are its lifeblood. The Grand Bazaar at the city's center is a permanent market spanning dozens of acres, where dwarven metalwork, elven textiles, gnomish clockwork, and goblin scrap-inventions are sold alongside mundane goods. Districts are loosely organized by trade — the Forge Quarter, the Arcane Row, the Livestock Commons — but the city's explosive growth means boundaries blur constantly. A council of merchant princes governs with more interest in profit than justice, and the city watch is stretched thin across a population that swells by thousands during trade season.
