Dustpick
A boom-town sprawling around rich skymetal deposits, where fortunes are won and lost daily in a dozen schemes and dangerous mines.
A rough-and-tumble frontier mining town that sprang up around a rich vein of precious ore. Lawless, booming, and full of opportunity.
Environment Hills
Dustpick is barely a decade old but already bursting at its seams, a chaotic sprawl of timber buildings, canvas tents, and mine shaft entrances radiating from a central mud street optimistically called Main Road. The discovery of skymetal ore in the hills drew prospectors by the thousands, and the town has the frantic energy of a gold rush — fortunes made and lost daily, claim-jumping disputes settled with steel, and a single overworked sheriff trying to maintain order. General stores charge outrageous prices for basic supplies, while assayers, saloons, and gambling halls compete for miners' hard-won coin. The mines themselves are increasingly deep and dangerous, with reports of strange creatures in the lowest shafts.
