Arcana of Iron
A war mage archetype trades wands for cold steel, wielding advanced weaponry with real proficiency and hitting harder when a blade carries a spell's charge.
You eschew wands and staves for more advanced weaponry. You become trained in advanced weapons. If you gain the weapon expertise class feature, your proficiency in martial and advanced weapons increases to expert. The extra damage you deal with Bespell Strikes increases to 1d8.
