Tanuki
Mischievous shapeshifters who settle disputes through playful transformation contests and clever tricks.
Tanuki are an ancestry of humanoids resembling raccoons or canids who live primarily in Minkai, in Tian Xia, though they are also found in Hwanggot and the successor states of Lung Wa. Tanuki outside of Minkai tend to be shier, keeping to their raccoon-dog forms and staying out of trouble, and so most people associate tanuki solely with the boisterous and mischievous communities found in Minkai.
