Sorcerers are spontaneous spellcasters who draw power from their innate magical bloodline. They can cast more spells per day than any other caster but know fewer spells overall.

Key Ability: Charisma

Hit Points per Level: 6 + Constitution modifier

Perception Proficiency: Trained

Saving Throws: Trained Fortitude, Trained Reflex, Expert Will

Skills: Based on bloodline, plus 2 + Intelligence modifier additional skills

Attacks: Trained with simple weapons and unarmed attacks

Defenses: Trained in unarmored defense only

Spellcasting: Determined by bloodline tradition (arcane, divine, occult, or primal), spontaneous (Charisma-based). Start with 5 cantrips and 3 first-rank spell slots (most of any 1st-level caster).

Key 1st-Level Features:

  • Bloodline: Your magical ancestry determines your tradition and bonus spells. Examples:
    • Angelic: Divine tradition, bonus healing spells
    • Demonic: Divine, bonus destruction spells
    • Draconic: Arcane, energy damage bonus
    • Fey: Primal, illusion and enchantment bonus
    • Imperial: Arcane, broad spell access
    • Undead: Divine or occult, negative energy
  • Signature Spells: Each level, designate one spell per spell rank as a Signature Spell, allowing you to heighten it freely when casting it.
  • Bloodline Spells: Gain focus spells tied to your bloodline, powered by a focus pool.
