Somebody's actual mother, or father. Loving, worried sick, and always a beat behind on what their kid's really doing after dark. A job, a marriage, a history, a whole ledger of fears — and every conversation with them plays like a mask move whether the kid in question is a Janus or not.
Appearance: Ordinary clothes worn thin at the elbows, a phone gripped a little too tight, tired eyes that flick constantly toward the door. Nothing costumed, nothing dramatic — just someone standing very still.
