Vigil Tower
Iconic headquarters split between a public museum lobby and active mission floors above. Glass-and-steel tower built on shipping wealth; statues and plaques honor past heroes while...
Glass and steel raised on shipping-boom money, back when the city still built monuments instead of apologies. Part headquarters, part shrine, part gift shop — the lobby's a museum, the upper floors still run missions, and a redevelopment outfit has spent two years angling to buy the air above it. Statues line the entrance. Some of the heroes they honor are still upstairs working. The plaques are careful not to say which ones aren't.
Appearance: A glass-and-steel tower catching the harbor light off every angle, a marble lobby lined with statues and glass cases, brass plaques polished to a shine. Upper floors stay lit long after the lobby's museum hours end.
