Warrior of the Open Hand (Monk)

Monks of the Warrior of the Open Hand are masters of unarmed combat, using ki to control and disable enemies.

Chosen at: Level 3

Level 3 — Open Hand Technique: Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks from Flurry of Blows, impose one of these effects:

  • Target must succeed on a Dexterity save or be knocked prone
  • Target must succeed on a Strength save or be pushed 15 feet away
  • Target can't take reactions until the end of your next turn

Level 6 — Wholeness of Body: As an action, regain HP equal to three times your Monk level. Once per long rest.

Level 11 — Tranquility: At the end of a long rest, gain the effect of sanctuary spell until your next long rest (Wisdom save DC 8 + proficiency + Wisdom mod).

Level 17 — Quivering Palm: Spend 3 ki points when you hit with an unarmed strike to set up lethal vibrations that last for a number of days equal to your Monk level. You can then use an action to end the vibrations, forcing a Constitution save (DC 8 + proficiency + Wisdom mod) or the target drops to 0 HP; on success, it takes 10d10 necrotic damage. Only one creature affected at a time.
