Granted Features

Automatic:

Grants proficiency in three skills of your choice. Search fit: skill proficiency selection, bonus skill coverage.

Reaction expending a Bardic Inspiration die to subtract its roll from a creature's damage roll or ability/attack roll within 60 feet, potentially negating success. Enables reactive interference with enemy action resolution through wit-based supernatural distraction.

College of Lore (Bard)

Bards of the College of Lore collect knowledge and wield it as a weapon.

Chosen at: Level 3

Level 3 — Bonus Proficiencies: Gain proficiency in three skills of your choice.

Level 3 — Cutting Words: When a creature within 60 feet makes an attack roll, ability check, or damage roll, use your reaction to expend a Bardic Inspiration die and subtract it from the roll. You can use this after the creature rolls but before the DM determines whether the roll succeeds or fails.

Level 6 — Additional Magical Secrets: Learn two spells from any class list. These count as Bard spells.

Level 14 — Peerless Skill: When you make an ability check, you can expend a Bardic Inspiration die and add the roll to your check.
