A vast swampland shrouded in fog where will-o'-wisps lure travelers into bottomless bogs. Ancient ruins dot the few patches of solid ground.

An endless expanse of grey-green marsh stretches to every horizon, broken only by occasional hummocks of solid ground topped with twisted trees. Fog rolls in thick banks that reduce visibility to arm's length, and floating lights dance at the edge of perception, always leading deeper into the mire. The water is deceptively deep — what appears to be shallow marsh can drop to twenty feet without warning. On the scattered islands of firm ground, crumbling stone foundations hint at a civilization that existed before the swamp reclaimed everything.
