Grants +2 AC against ranged attacks as a bonus to the shield's standard protection. As a reaction, redirect a ranged attack targeting an ally within 5 feet to yourself instead.

In addition, whenever an attacker makes a ranged attack against a target within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to become the target of the attack instead.
